VIZ Media alongside comiXology and Amazon have announced the debut of Weekly Shonen Jump in English on both the comiXology platform and Amazon’s Kindle Store.

The English language digital manga magazine will be released weekly in English, and shall be published simultaneously with the print version in Japan. Available to those in North America, the United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand; Weekly Shonen Jump shall hopefully grant manga fans access to a number of manga series including One Piece, Bleach, Blue Exorcist, My Hero Academia and Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma much earlier than might have otherwise been possible.

Andy Nakatani | Editor-In-Chief of Weekly Shonen Jump

Weekly Shonen Jump is a fan favorite magazine where emerging and long-running hit manga series are shown to the world first. We’re excited to expand the readership of this magazine to the comiXology and Kindle audience.

Chip Mosher | VP of Communications & Marketing at comiXology

It’s amazing we live in an age where it’s possible for fans to read manga in English the same day as appears in Japan. This is why we’re thrilled to share Weekly Shonen Jump on comiXology and Kindle as we’re now able to give fans access to the latest and greatest manga around.
