A LOT CAN CHANGE IN TEN YEARS…
Ten years ago, Kodaka’s best—and only—friend was a kid he knew only as “Sora.” Now he finally knows that Yozora and Sora are the same person, but that doesn’t mean their friendship can pick up where it left off. And to make things more complicated, she’s known who he was all along…and chose not to tell him.
Despite all that, life in the Neighbors Club continues as always. There are elaborate new hairstyles to try out, and new kinds of anime to explore! It all sounds normal enough, but if there’s one thing you can count on with the Neighbors Club, it’s that “normal” does not apply!
Strike Witches: The Sky That Connects Us
Humikane Shimada / Projekt Kagonish / Shin Kyogoku | $12.99 | 17th June 2014
SEPARATED…BUT NEVER APART!
The girls of the 501st Joint Fighter Wing in Britannia were a tightly-knit team. They fought together, worked together, and even played together. But when their mission is complete, this band of close friends is broken up and scattered. Some continued to fight the Neuroi. Some returned home, or set out on personal missions. Some managed to get into even more trouble than before. This volume greatly expands the fascinating alternative-World War II world of the Strike Witches, exploring new nations and cultures, and taking a long, hard look at the question of what happens to friends and comrades-in-arms when they can no longer serve together. Although the girls of the 501st have very different personalities, powers, and goals, they share a bond of friendship and common dreams that may be larger than the distance that separates them.
