Back in August 2013, one of the first releases made by new North American anime publisher Acttil was Blik-0 1946, an e-book produced by acclaimed “Final Fantasy” composer Nobuo Uematsu, and included several tracks of his to boot. Available at the price of $9.99, Blik-0 1946 is a story about a robot named “Blik-0,” created by the reputable artificial intelligence scientist, Dr. Mabuse. Blik-0 is a robot built with functions that let him emulate the human heart and brain. As he experiences life the way humans do, he starts to struggle with feelings and emotions like sadness, heartache, anger, and love.
This book will also feature three original tracks composed by Nobuo Uematsu, and is also available for individual purchase at $2.97. The original iPhone release of Blik-0 1946 did not include the three music tracks, and has since been fixed. Acttil asks that those who did download this version contact them through “support at acttil.com” with the below information, and they will rectify this issue by providing a voucher code as an apology:
1. Purchase history screenshot or purchase confirmation email that indicates that the customer purchased the “iPhone” version of Blik-0 1946.
