Established on the 27th December 2010, Jmanga was set up with the support of several manga publishers in order to allow fans of manga an official means of supporting the manga industry by paying for and digitally accessing manga volumes in English online. Some of the titles they have included on the service over the years include Poyo Poyo’s Observation Diary, Recorder and Randsell and Elemental Gelade.

Unfortunately for users of the service, they have decided to conclude both their retail and viewing services between now and the 30th May 2013. The termination schedule is as follows:

  1. JManga Point Distribution and Sales Termination:
March 13th 2013 at 11:59pm (US Pacific Time)
  2. Digital Manga Purchasing Service Termination:
March 26th at 11:59pm (US Pacific Time)
  3. Manga Viewing Service Termination:
May 30th at 11:59pm (US Pacific Time)

The JManga7.com service has already been shut down, and members who signed up for the service between the 14th February 2013 and the 13th March 2013 will be refunded as the full months service would not have been fulfilled. All other JManga Members will be issued with Amazon Gift Cards as a substitute for the amount of unused JManga Paid Points possessed on the 13th March 2013.
