Wacom (Australia) Announce Two New Stylus Models Today

-

WacomWacom have today announced two new Bamboo Stylus models as part of their Bamboo Stylus range. The Bamboo Stylus feel carbon and the Bamboo Stylus feel are to be available for the latest-generation Windows 8 and Android tablets, such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. Below is some information on the product, sourced from the press release:

Users can enjoy: ergonomic note-taking, doodling, drawing, mind-mapping and many more activities on their tablet. The pen experience is just like traditional pen on paper and due to the feel IT® technologies used inside the pen, the Bamboo Stylus reproduces different pressure levels while writing, completing the natural pen feeling.

With feel, pen and tablet communicate with each other not via touch (like the pens for iPad and iPhone do), but via electromagnetic waves. This is made possible by integrated Wacom technology within the tablet, ensuring perfect compatibility between tablet and pen.

Both pens are equipped with Wacom feel IT technologies. feel IT is one of Wacom’s Core technologies which creates a unique user experience. The feel brand has been explicitly designed to work alongside Wacom’s partner brands to improve people’s experience with technology.

Bamboo Stylus feel is on offer in two high quality versions, both with comfortable standard pen format and delivering a natural pen experience. The Bamboo Stylus feel carbon comes in a smart executive-silver/black and the Bamboo Stylus feel comes in black or white and features a stylish mixture of coated plastic and metal-based elements. Both pens have a smooth coating on the tip, making them incredibly comfortable and natural to use on the screen. They are available with nib replacements inside the box.

The Bamboo Stylus feel can be ordered online via Buywacom from late January, with pricing yet to be announced.
