  • Eternal Sonata – Review

Personally, it is hard to put it into words what the graphics are like in this game. Even for a port of a game made a year or two ago, they still look absolutely stunning on the screen. Nearly every town, character and field look absolutely stunning and detailed. Really, the only area of the game which I think could use a little bit more detail is a field or two on the way to Forte Castle. I found it interesting how the graphics of the game constantly reminded me I was playing in the dream world of a famous musical composer with the colourful and bright cel-shaded graphics that just scream creativity, alongside the few areas which are musical based (Once again, play the game to find out.

  • Well, my main character was still my mage named Sam, however I also made three different classed characters to test out the different classes and also to reserve character names. I did however leave this to the last minute and ended up spending up to the last 5 minutes levelling my archer to level 10, which I fortunately managed to do.

I was able to get my character level up to mid-high 40s, I would be up to 60 but I did spend a good portion of my time doing videos which I uploaded to Youtube, as well as helping other gamers run through Farrel, which I am glad I did.

  • I shall be honest, I have not read the manga or watched the OVA series of Kyo no Gononi (Also known as Today in Class 5-2 and Kyo no 5 no 2), so I am unable to comment on the differences between this and the other forms of this series except from what I have read and a few images I have seen. I really liked this anime, bringing the anime genre that Azumanga Daioh departed with and has not been seen since. I have always liked the style where they split the episode up into several segments.

  • To Aru Majutsu no Index – Episode 1

Opening Theme: PSI-missing by Mami Kawada - For the style of anime this is, I was not really expecting an opening theme this good, however it was a really nice surprise to see it how it turned out. From everything I have watched so far this season, this is definately the best opening sequence. First of all, I loved the suspenseful tune of the music, wasn't classical, wasn't happy just suspenseful. (Cannot really describe it in any other way) The animation was also very good!

  • Macademi Wasshoi! – Episode 1

I was very skeptical about this series after dealing with a show like Kyouran Kazoku Nikki, which ended up rather funny in the first episode or two however managed to lose my interest afterwards. Whilst I still have that thought in the back of my mind watching this series, I do feel more optimistic with this series than Kyouran Kazoku Nikki. This is simply due to the fact that it does not try and focus on being completely random, and has a structured storyline, instead of just each episode being different.

  • Kemeko Deluxe! – Episode 1

I was really cautious about this anime as I could either see it doing very well however on the other hand, it would do very poorly. In my honest opinion, it was above average at best however does have the potential to do much better depending on how the next few episodes go. First off, the graphics were a bit all over the place in ratings, on one hand, I found that the backdrops where very well done alongside a number of the character designs however, some of the other characters, especially the Kemeko robot design was a bit sub-par, althrough I assume that was the look they were going for.

  • Rosario + Vampire CAPU2 – Episode 1

  • Disgaea 3 – Review

Finally, I have reached a point in the game where I am happy enough to start reviewing the game. First of all, I would like to say that this game is absolutely brilliant, outdoing every other game that Nippon Ichi has done over the last few years. They have taken what was great about the series, and then adding and improving it many features that have improved the overall quality.

  • Interesting Games – Part 2

This is another set of games which I am looking forward to and/or planning on blogging. • Disgaea 3 Complete!

Just want to pass on the message that I finally managed to finish the storyline component of Disgaea 3, thus the review for it shall be done tomorrow. Would have finished it earlier but a certain LittleBigPlanet kept me busy over the last few days. I wonder what game I shall finish next, most probably Atelier Iris: EternalMana.

  • I thought I would share with you all the games that I have gotten recently and that I will be blogging over the next week or so. I will also show you the games that I have got on order or plan to buy. Enjoy!   Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana I only picked this game up a week ago. • Granado Espada – Review

The graphics in this game are absolutely stunning, whilst most online games can get a dated look after a year or two, Granado Espada remains the same, high level quality as it did when it was released several years before an english release, and has not aged much at all. The 3D landscaping of the areas ingame are all very high quality, with every nook and cranny being well detailed and is consistent throughout all the areas, whether it be a deep dark torturous prison to a blistering cold snowfield. The character designs are also very well done, whilst originally there is only a few character designs, it soon expands over numerous different characters, each with a different clothes design. Everything else is done very well, making it some of the best game graphics I have seen. (Also on the plus side... it doesnt explode my compute). Also, the graphics are not overboard and do not stray from the Baroque Period theme that the game is set in.
