  • Anime Themes Review – Strike Witches

Due to some problems with my file, my media player which I use to take screenshots didn't seem to like it at all. However, despite this odd flaw, I really liked this opening, not the best, but it still was very good. The animation was very very fast (Which made it very hard to take screencaps) but was very well done and it is obvious that they put a lot of effort to keep people interested in watching the show, rather then thinking that it is only there to appeal to the loli fans. The song was also very nice and the animation was worked around the song so the timing between the two elements were very good.

  • Anime Themes Review – Sekirei and Koihime†Musou

Since I am not planning on doing much blogging in regards to individual episodes, here is my review on just a few of the theme songs that I viewed while watching the anime of this season. No video links this time, internet speed is very slow until a few days so I will not be able to post videos here. Also note: Southern Hemisphere Winter Season Northern Hemisphere Summer Season Anime: Sekirei Type: Opening Theme Song Name: Sekirei By: Saori Hayami, Marina Inoue, Kana Hanazawa & Aya Endo Review: I was hoping that something good in regards to opening themes...

  • It is exam time for all the students and they are all busy studying. Ink is in her room studying when her mother brings in a cup of tea for her and they discuss her exam. At school, they are all sitting practice exams for their university entry exams. Sumi has had the biggest change adding huge coke-bottle glasses to her face. After school, Ink talks to Nao about his options and he says he is trying to go to the same university as her.

  • Keeping this episode simple, they begin with the famous train scene and Najimi goes off to her first book sale in a store, which soon has Hoshi marketing for her. After this, Najimi goes off to meet Hoshi's brother at the cafe to deal with some paperwork, which she is supposedly "Stabbed in the back" and he disappears with the contract he just forced her into signing (Aka. Forcing her stamp on the paper). The whole group go after him and end up sending him running into a small river.

Image Rank Previous Name Comment 1 1 Rozen Maiden This anime has been my favourite anime the moment I laid eyes on it. I like how it seems to act all serious like however it fails at that and instead ends up like a comedy. 2 2 Pani Poni Dash I must admit, the first few episodes I was hesitant about and I was sure that this would not last the whole season however it turned out to be the most hilarious anime I have ever seen. 3 3 Negima!? Negima!? Was the first full anime that I had reviewed...

  • I cannot believe that it is finally over.. The anime that really started me blogging. What to say about this series? After watching the partly to the book anime, the manga Mahou Sensei Negima and its really odd ending, it was nice to see a remake of it in Pani Poni Dash style.

    My first ever negative review!

  • This is a little something I thought up at the spur of the moment. I have sadly come across some anime that has been… less that likable over the years… however some good anime has really shined on me so here is my verdict on what the best and worse animes are: Worst 5 5. Popotan This series featured a little bit too much fanservice for me. I do not have much time or interest in bath scenes every episode and I would rather see more of a storyline. Bad but definitely not the worst. 4. Binchou-tan Very Very Very...

  • was personally worried that this OVA wouldnt match up with the quality of the series however this proved me wrong. This episode however, seemed to be not only about Suigintou but Souseseki as well… Anyway, it was an excellent prologue to the tales and we get to see how the Shinku x Suigintou war started!

  • I quite enjoyed this OVA, I found that it had more storyline towards it then the Spring one. It revolves around the everlasting Negi-Nodoka relationship with Yue casting a spell on her causing Nodoka and Negi to be joined together by the red string of fate. Of course, jealousy kicks in and all in all, it is a hillarious bundle. The artwork recieved a nice tone up and the music was great althrough the OP & ED wernt as good in this one. Here is the overall ranking:

  • After all those months, this post didnt have any kind of review in it O_O. Althrough I do remember doing it I will just have to do it again. This OVA is the first of the two Negima OVA’s currently out and focuses on the events from the manga when Asuna is angry and Negi (For the manga for not taking her somewhere and in this… blowing up her skirt with his sneeze) but this is just a little bit too much fanservice for me althrough it does offer a fairly good story and some of the best art SHAFT has ever made.
