With the Light: Raising an Autistic Child – Volume 1
Posted on August 27, 2010 | No CommentsOut of all the manga I have reviewed on this blog, this would have to be the most different one in comparison to everything else. This title, as the name suggests, is about human development, and how when a normal family finds their newborn has a disability such as autism, how it can affect their lives, for the better… or worse. Now, I assume that at least some of you have already moved on and decided to read other articles, since I am sure this manga wouldn’t suit everyones tastes, however, for those who are looking for a serious read,... -

Dance in the Vampire Bund – Volume 1 Review
Posted on June 11, 2010 | No CommentsWarning, this series has a few pages that would not be appropriate for minors and is classified Older Teen 16+.Dance in the Vampire Bund is a series I have only relatively heard of. I watched one episode of the manga and put it down due to the weirdness of it and lack of overall appeal. However I found the manga version, and wanting to read a story about vampires that do not glitter in the sunlight and break the hearts of innocent teenage girls that seems to be slowly coming in as the official vampire stereotype (Yes, you know the... -

One Fine Day – Volume 1 Review
Posted on June 10, 2010 | 1 CommentBut….. The cat forgot something. No-ah is not as strong as a cat…. Poor No-ah… The victim of the cat’s walk in the rain Before I start this review, I would like to dedicate this review to “Tiamat’s Disciple” from “Tiamat’s Manga Reviews” who sadly passed away last week due to a long battle with prostate cancer. My sympathy goes out to his family and I hope everyone can appreciate the hard work that he put into making his blog undoubtedly one of the best manga blogs you could ever hope for on the internet. That being said, since I... -

Koi Cupid – Volume 1
Posted on January 13, 2010 | 1 CommentAfter the sexyness of Bayonetta and the fanservice of Cross Edge, I think it is time to focus on something for the younger readers. To be perfectly honest, the only reason I bought Koi Cupid was to collect rare books, since Broccoli Books went out of business January of last year, their books have been increasingly hard to find, and during my trip, I managed to locate not only this book, but Disgaea 2 Volume 2 and Coyote. Either way, if you are interested in a book that is aimed more at kids and was done by the person who... -
Rozen Maiden – Volume 8
Posted on December 22, 2009 | 2 CommentsA GIGANTIC volume coming in at a whopping 98 pages long with no extras and being a great conclusion to the series…. oh wait, forget I just said that. Volume 8 is a very small manga volume in comparison to the other volumes, looking quite out of place on my bookshelf and resolving the storyline in the quickest manner possible…. without an ending. Now I am aware of all the problems surrounding this however I am here to review the manga as if there were no complications, so read on to see if this was worth me paying the same...
