Back This Weekend With (Hopefully) Lots of Reviews!
Posted on May 16, 2013 | No CommentsHow I feel on a weekend! Provided this nasty cold has passed through my system, I should be back this weekend with a couple of new reviews, hopefully including titles from the Australian anime publishers as well as a review of Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen and potentially a couple of other video game titles I have on my backlog. As I am writing up a few documents for uni related matters, any news that is announced on Friday will be posted up as soon as possible… although... -
Looking at Potentially a Few More Japanese Game Reviews
Posted on May 12, 2013 | No CommentsI have noticed that it has been quite a while since I last reviewed a Japanese game on The Otaku’s Study, despite the amount of Japanese video game news that is covered here. Thinking back… the last review would be of Tales of Xillia 2 all the way back in December. While nothing is set in stone just yet, I am looking at acquiring both Gal☆Gun on the Playstation 3 and Soreyuke! Burunyanman Portable for the Playstation Portable, both of which are set to be... -

Interview with Makoto Shinkai at the World Premiere of The Garden of Words
Posted on May 5, 2013 | No CommentsThe Gold Coast Film Festival have over the years held host to a number of intriguing and entertaining films, ranging from those that are completely live-action to segments of the festival such as “Cool Japan” which every year brings anime films and stars to the coast. This year was pretty special…. not only did the event play host to a screening of Mamoru Hosoda’s Wolf Children (A film I was glad I finally had the chance to watch), but also the world premiere of Makoto Shinkai’s latest... -

Site Update: The State of Reviews
Posted on April 29, 2013 | No CommentsAside my interview with Mamoru Hosoda last week, you may have noticed that the last review I posted up was for Fractale on the 16th April 2013. Just to let everyone know that reviews should begin again at latest starting next Monday. My lecturer’s have chosen to have three of my assignments due on pretty much subsequent days at the end of the week, so I would rather not compromise quality and get these three out of the way to free up as much time... -

When Clain meets a girl, Phryne, a priestess, and Nessa, a dopple, he is soon caught up in a battle to bring down the Fractale system, perpetrated by a ragtag team of hacker terrorists called the "Lost Millennium" who believe the world should go back to the pre-Fractale way. It is Exam Time Once Again!

Therefore, while I will try and get articles out as soon as possible – most of my reviews will be backlogged until Wednesday at the earliest.
