Kodomo no Jikan Archive

Finally decided to get back on just to finish the series from the last season then I will do just the occasional blog this season (and possibly next season if nothing good is on). Anyway, this episode is just a filler in my opinion and only offers a little bit of the storyline. Not much else I can say on this unfortunately.

The group of misfits have been caught out of class during their spare time of class, as this is a serious problem, Daisuke decides to force the class to do structured activities during the time after Shirai talks to all teachers about it. He brings a box of books to his classroom and gives it to each student to read. He then proceeds to leave the room with Rin close on his tail. Rin catches up to him and tells him to blame her and no one else yet he still orders her to go up to the classroom when Kyoko comes up to him.

Before school, Rin is with Reiji and asks him to help her choose between two clothing sets she wants to wear. Being the pervert he is, Reiji takes awhile to choose but when he finally chooses the tank top, she decides to choose the mini skirt set anyway. Shirai-sensei and Daisuke are both standing outside school greeting the students as they enter the school and she pays out his necktie. Before he can retaliate, Rin comes up to him and jumps on him. When she leaves, Shirai is giving Daisuke the evil glare. She claims that the parent should do that sort of stuff and not the teacher as well.

Daisuke's class of merry misfits along with many other classes in the grade are going on their annual field trip. At home, Rin is practicing moves that she plans on doing to Daisuke during the trip on her giant teddy bear. However, at the school, Kyoko mentions what fun the trip will be however Daisuke is bracing himself for a trip of pain and suffering. The day of the camp arrives and with that, Rin and Kuro with their devilish plans.

This episode starts with Reiji and his mother having recently passed away. Despite all of the crap he endured, he finally gains his wish and moves away from his abusive father who his mother had done her best to protect him from all his life. He moves to Tokyo where a young woman named Aki is waiting for him as his new carer with her young toddler daughter Rin. The incidents of his past still haunts him as one night when he is by himself, he starts crying about what would have happened if him and his mother ran away and if she would still be alive, however, Rin wanders in and hugs him. From that point on, he starts to change.

For Daisuke, it is parent-teacher interview time. When he announces this to the class however, he is greeted by a negative response and Kuro calls it "An Invasion of Privacy". Their homework is to write about their parents (I guess it is good to know about a parents before going to see them, with some of his children, I would not be surprised if he recieved a kick or two in the "delicates"). When he is leaving school, he notices two of the other teachers and they say that parent-teacher interviews are less common nowadays. He is also encouraged to read up the students in their record books.

Summary: In the classroom, all of the female students are changing into their sports clothes. Mimi is embarrassed and hiding herself while Rin is having Kuro take a photo of her to send to Daisuke. Kuro is embarassed about this and starts running towards the staffroom where Daisuke is talking to another male teacher. When he deletes it as a spam message, Kuro falls on the ground and when she gets up, kicks him in the "delicates".

Daisuke is having another class, this time involving the students to write a few sentences on their lifes ambitions. They politely *coff* do their sentences thinking that it is a stupid idea. Kuro has a fantasy about her and Rin on a garden swing with them both being happy together (In love) however Rin decides to call out in the middle of all of this and confess her love for Daisuke and saying that she wants to be his wife. The class react stupidly over this and even throw confetti over her although Kuro is less than happy and changes her wish to something that will be revealed soon.
