In attendance at Naka-Con 2018 in Overland Park, KS over the weekend, North American anime distributor Right Stuf Inc announced new acquisitions and news about titles that will be released under their Nozomi Entertainment wing in the future. During their panel, details were confirmed about their release of Mobile Suit Gundam 00, and it was also confirmed they will be releasing Skip Beat! In North America.
Mobile Suit Gundam 00
It has been announced that Right Stuf will be releasing a Mobile Suit Gundam 00 10th Anniversary Ultra Edition Collection set in the coming months. This set will include all 50 episodes in addition to the Special Edition OVAs and the movie Mobile Suit Gundam 00: A Wakening of the Trailblazer. This is in addition to a standard edition release of Mobile Suit Gundam 00 on Blu-ray and DVD.
About Mobile Suit Gundam 00
The year is 2307 A.D. While the Earth’s reserves of fossil fuels have been depleted, humanity has obtained a new, nearly infinite source of energy to replace them in the form of large-scale solar-powered generation systems based on three huge orbital elevators. Previously only available to backers of a successful Kickstarter campaign by Pied Piper, Right Stuf and Nozomi Entertainment will be making this anime adaptation of Yoshiki Nakamura’s shoujo manga available to non-backers on Blu-ray in the near future. Now available for pre-order exclusively via Right Stuf’s anime store, Skip Beat! will feature English and Japanese language audio, and be available for purchase from June 26 2018.
