Sentai Filmworks to Screen Girls und Panzer Der Film in Canada This Month

After debuting the film in the United States, North American anime publisher Sentai Filmworks have announced they will be bringing Girls und Panzer der Film to Canadian audiences very soon. In fact, the film will be available with its English dub in 30 Canadian cities as of 26 January 2017. Cities will include  Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, and Ottawa.

Girls und Panzer der Film follows the story of the original TV anime – with the girls of the Ooarai High School tankery team once again tasked with defeating their foes and saving their school.

First airing in Japan during 2015, this English-dubbed localised version first screened at San Francisco’s NEW PEOPLE Cinema in November 2016. Screening in English, this localisation has been directed by Kyle Colby Jones, who has previously worked on some of Sentai Filmworks’ recent hits including No Game No Life and Akame ga Kill!. The English dub will see many voice actors reprise their original roles, including Margaret McDonald (Miho), Rebekah Stevens (Yukari), Jessica Calvello (Saori), Caitlynn French (Hana), and Molly Searcy (Mako).
