Fate/stay Night’s Heaven’s Feel Arc to Receive 3-Part Animated Film Adaptation

Those who are familiar with TYPE-MOON’s visual novel Fate/stay Night will be aware that the title had three arcs – one for each of its three main heroines. These were Fate (Which had a focus on Saber), Unlimited Blade Works (Which had a focus on Rin Tohsaka) and Heaven’s Feel (Which had a focus on Sakura Matou). The former two have received anime adaptations in the past, and ultimately provided two very distinct viewing experiences. The third arc, which features many of its own distinct events, has remained unexplored via anime to date.

While the above preview trailer above has been online for several years now, TYPE-MOON and ufotable have finally confirmed their plans for the arc. During AnimeJapan 2016, it was confirmed that the arc will be created as a series 3-arc film series. The first film in the trilogy will be screened to the public at an undisclosed date in 2017.

The films will be animated by the team at ufotable, with direction by Tomonori Sudou (Fate/Zero, Fate/stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works). You can see the first preview trailer for the film below:
