In addition to announcing their acquisition of My Love Story, North American anime publisher Sentai Filmworks have also acquired the rights to Triage X. Based on the original manga series by Shouji Satou, this series follows a group of mercenary assassins on a mission to rid the world of the “cancers” plaguing society through a precision-based, emotionless battlefield practice known as Triage.
This series will be directed by Akio Takami and Takao Kato, with series composition by Katsuhiko Takayama, character designs by Akio Takami, music by Shunichi Uemura and Art Direction by Yoshio Tanioka. The animation studio Xebec will be handling anime production of Triage X as well.
Triage X is currently slated to arrive on select digital video-on-demand services soon, with a home video release to follow at an unspecified date.
