Last year, Australian anime publisher Hanabee Entertainment held a set of weekly talk show-esque videos known as Hanabee Live. Featuring staff members from the company and the occasional special guest from Rooster Teeth, these hour (or so) long shows saw them preview upcoming anime releases, make new acquisition announcements and talk a lot in general. Unfortunately these seem to have been dropped, and it has been several months since the last episode.
Hanabee have today confirmed that they will be hosting two special episodes of Hanabee Live during both Supanova: Pop Culture Expo Melbourne on April 10th – 12th 2015 and Supanova: Pop Culture Expo Gold Coast on April 17th – 19th 2015. While details are still limited, they have asked fans to keep their schedule clear on the Saturday of both events, with times to be confirmed in the near future.
It is likely that these sessions will be similar in style to the more communicative panels Hanabee held at their events last year – with games, announcements and more.
