Deeming this to be “Monogatari Month”, Australian anime publisher Hanabee Entertainment have uploaded the entirety of Nisemonogatari, Nekomonogatari Black and all of Monogatari Second Series to their video on demand anime streaming service. This means that anyone residing in Australia and New Zealand can now enjoy these series at no charge online. To access these streams, alongside others released by Hanabee Entertainment since launching the service last year, check out the official Hanabee website.
Each of these series can also be purchased via Hanabee’s online store or anime retailers. For the next couple of days, Hanabee are taking 20% off all anime releases listed on their online store as part of their 3rd Anniversary celebrations. Nisemonogatari
Koyomi Araragi’s brush with the strange and supernatural continues in Nisemonogatari, but this time it may hit a little closer to home. There’s been a rash of curses running through the local middle school, so Karen and Tsukihi Araragi – the ‘Fire Sisters’- are hunting the culprit.
The source of the problem, however, might turn out to be a figure from Senjyogahara’s past: Deishu Kaiki. Kaiki is a con-man, always chasing a quick buck no matter who his victims are. Be careful not to underestimate this slime-ball though, because curses sold by an impostor might turn out to be just as deadly as the real thing!
Nekomonogatari Black
This is a story of a human who plays a forbidden game towards becoming a monster.
It’s the beginning of Golden Week and Koyomi Araragi has more to deal with than discerning his feelings for the ever-enigmatic class president, Tsubasa Hanekawa. A monster is afoot attacking individuals at the dead of night and zapping them of their energy. The cause? A cursed cat and the student president herself, but the solution to the problem might be far more complicated than expected.
