Covering the Kurugaya and Rin arcs in addition to concluding with the “Refrain” chapter, Little Busters! Refrain comprises of the final 13-episodes of J.C. Staff’s anime adaptation of KEY’s renown Little Busters! visual novel.
After originally airing in Japan during late-2013, anime fans in North America are from today able to enjoy these episodes on DVD and Blu-ray kudos of anime publisher Sentai Filmworks. As with the first 26-episode season which was split over two volumes, this collection features a dual-audio (English / Japanese) dubbing.
Unfortunately, neither the eight Little Busters! EX chapters or OVA episode “I’ll Protect the Saito of the World!” (Sore wa Totsuzen Yatte Kita // それは突然やってきた) will be available in this release. I think it is safe to assume these will be localized and published at a later date.
Those residing in Australia and New Zealand have to wait until next month, with Hanabee Entertainment incorporating it as part of their February 2015 release schedule.
