Aniplex of America to Distribute Persona 3 the Movie #2: Midsummer Knight’s Dream

-

jk02After launching a similar Import Edition for Persona 3 the Movie #1: Spring of Birth in the earlier months of last year, Aniplex of America have confirmed that the second film Persona 3 the Movie #2: Midsummer Knight’s Dream will receive the same treatment. The Import Edition will be available as two individual sets that will both be available from March 11th 2015.

Those after something a little bit more special will be able to pick up the Collector’s Edition (SRP: $99.98); which will also include an Original Soundtrack CD (Which includes theme song “Fate is in our Hands”), exclusive box art by Keisuke Watabe, newly illustrated artwork on the cover, a 48-page deluxe booklet, 10 Super P3 Stickers and 3 Key Art Illustration Cards. Purchasing through select retailers such as Right Stuf will also earn you an English translation booklet, which will assist you in reading the deluxe booklet which is in Japanese. Fancy saving yourself a bit of money or otherwise don’t find the Collector’s Edition goodies appealing? Aniplex of America will also be offering a Standard Edition (SRP: $74.98) which will include just the 99 minute film and on-disc extras.

Irrespective of what edition you purchase, Persona 3 the Movie #2: Midsummer Knight’s Dream will only be available on Blu-ray. Both edition’s will also feature the Director’s Cut version of the film, which features four minutes of never before seen footage. The film will be dubbed in Japanese with English subtitles, however any on-disc extras such as audio commentary, trailers and commercials will not include subtitles.

Persona 3 the Movie #2: Midsummer Knight’s Dream is the second instalment in the Persona 3 feature film series that adapts ATLUS’ 2006 PlayStation 2 RPG, “Persona 3”.
