Continuing their Christmas anime acquisition announcements, Australian publisher Madman Entertainment have confirmed that they now hold the rights to Free! Eternal Summer, season two of Kyoto Animation’s Free! anime adaptation. This is set to begin streaming on AnimeLab shortly, with a home video release planned for a date to be confirmed.
Similar to the case with US-based publisher Funimation Entertainment, Madman have only acquired the second season. In response to someone asking if they only acquired the one season, a representative from the company responded:
Correct just Season 2 for the time being. It’s a little difficult to explain with the season 1 situation.
