Extending upon their February 2015 release slate, Australian anime publisher Hanabee Entertainment have confirmed that they now hold the rights to The Ambition of Oda Nobuna. This 2012 12-episode anime from animation studios Studio Gokumi and Madhouse is an adaptation of the romantic comedy / action / alternate history light novel of the same name by Mikage Kasuga.
Hanabee Enertainment plan on releasing The Ambition of Oda Nobuna as a complete season set on DVD and Blu-ray, featuring dual audio at a price of $59.99 for either format.
Yoshiharu Sagara is about to get a blast from the past. Stranded in what appears to be the Sengoku period, Yoshiharu’s understanding of Japanese history is about to be turned on its head. Not only is Oda Nobunga not male, one of the key figures in history has just been accidentally killed defending him.
