Makoto Shinkai, master of anime environments (aka. Scenery Porn) and director of hit films including Children Who Chase Lost Voices and The Garden of Words, has today had his latest commercial for the Taisei Corporation shared on YouTube.
While it may only be a 30-second commercial, the clip still remains of an incredibly high standard. For more information on what the video involves, the official CoMix Wave Films Facebook page provided the following description:
Shinkai’s latest commercial for Taisei Corporation is now on air! Following the Bosporus Strait tunnel and the Sri Lankan highway projects, this one features the Noi Bai International Airport in Vietnam.
We can only hope that his next feature-length film won’t be too far off. 30 seconds of Makoto Shinkai work is never enough.
