Nippon Ichi Software America first announced their acquisition of Love Live! School Idol Project in the last days of 2012 which was one of the company’s very first simulcast anime releases. Moving forward a year and a half, NIS America have confirmed that they will be launching their obligatory Premium Edition of the first season on September 2nd, 2014.
This edition will come with all the usual goodies one would expect to see in one of their Premium Edition’s including a hardcover slipcase and 28-page hardcover artbook which contains an episode guide, character information and full colour illustrations. With these contents, it also comes at a premium price of $64.99, however Rightstuf.com currently have it listed for $55.24.
The traditional school Otonokizaka High is situated between the three towns of Akihabara, Kanda, and Jimbocho. This school is also in imminent danger of closing. Because of this crisis, the second year student Honoka Kosaka takes center stage with eight others to do something about it! “To protect the school we love so much, we have to do all we can… We have to become school idols! By becoming idols and advertising how great our school is to the world, more students will want to apply!”
