Frosty the Snowman is one of the Christmas cartoon series that I watched back during my childhood, however like many older titles has not been shown annually on television for the last decade or so (Instead, we are treated to the same set of live action Christmas shows each year).

Down to the village, with a broomstick in his hand, running here and there, all around the square, sayin’, “Catch me if you can.”
and the brunt of the storyline being around the final part which sees him having to leave the town before he melts
For Frosty, the Snowman, had to hurry on his way, But he waved goodbye, sayin’ “Don’t cry, I’ll be back again some day.”
The unique storyling worked well with the source material, introducing new character Professor Hinkle, an eccentric magician / antagonist who owns the magic hat and knowing of its magical power, seeks to get it back. On a more negative point, aside from the protagonist child Karen, the other children only have small roles in the film. This could be put down to a glaringly obvious limitation of being a short special however.
I strongly advise you consider checking “Frosty the Snowman” out next Christmas, it will only take up half an hour of your time and can give you a better appreciation of the story posed in the classic Christmas carol.
