As a comedy anime series Nichijou: My Ordinary life is very hit and miss in the laughter department, sometimes delivering hysterical moments, sometimes “awwww!” moments and on the occasion had me reaching for the remove to skip to the next scene. It is hard not to notice that both writer and animation studio alike went into this anime adaptation with passion!

Nichijou may end up being too quirky and eccentric for the tastes of some – but nevertheless is an enjoyable series most of the time and is coupled with a decent Japanese voice track, strong visuals and two fantastic opening sequences with lyrical tracks by Hyadain.
