When reviewing the first half-season release of Bodacious Space Pirates made by Hanabee Entertainment earlier this year I commented that the character development was lacking and the plot was far too slow. While there was little linking the entire 26-episode season together, the second half was a lot heavier in plot and character development and climaxed greatly in the final story arc.
Still, I am left wondering the purpose of Chiaki Kurihara being secondary main character, when several episodes still have her appearances reduced to a few occasional snippets.
