Australian anime publisher Hanabee Entertainment held their final surprise screening a short while ago at the Brisbane Supanova: Pop Culture Expo. It was confirmed to the crowds in attendance that the acquisition was for Oreshura, another title to be published as part of Hanabee’s February 2014 anime release slate.
This title features script writing by Hiroyuki Yoshino and animation by A-1 Pictures. Hanabee themselves has stated that this is very similar to titles such as Toradora! which was part of their very first release slate and Haganai which is currently available to purchase from Madman Entertainment.
There is only set to be one release, a complete collection on DVD containing all 13 episodes. Unlike their other two acquisitions, Oreshura is only set to be available with the original Japanese dub. It is set to hit store shelves on the 8th February 2014.
