North American anime publisher Aniplex of America have announced that they will be holding theatrical sessions for Puella Magi Madoka Magica The Movie – Rebellion –, which unlike the previous two features a completely new plotline. The film will be headed to cinemas just in time for the holiday season this December.
The US premiere event will be held on the 3rd December 2013 at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood, CA. This is a unique opportunity for fans to be the first to watch the Madoka Magica movie as well as experience a visit from production crew members. Additionally, those who purchase a U.S. Premiere ticket will receive a exclusive gift bag which includes a Madoka Magica mini autograph board, the movie guide book and a Kyubey cell phone stand. Exclusive Madoka Magica the Movie merchandise will also be on sale at the event. Tickets for the US Premiere Event were on sale via the films official website, but have been quickly snatched up by fans.
Following the US Premiere, Eleven Arts will distribute the film to select theaters in major cities across the US and Canada. Each admission ticket will give the fans a chance to receive an exclusive mini autograph board while supplies last. There will also be exclusive Madoka Magica merchandise sold only at the Los Angeles theater, Downtown Independent while supplies last. The official release of the
