For fans of the series who may not have already noticed, the very first episode of reboot anime series Rozen Maiden Zurückspulen has finally aired in Japan. If you enjoyed the opening sequence or more specifically the theme that played during it you may be interested to know that Lantis have plans to release a single album of it in Japan on the 24th July 2013.

The opening theme is 私の薔薇を喰みなさい or Watashi no Bara wo Haminasai and is performed by ALI PROJECT whom have been responsible for the three other Rozen Maiden anime adaptations (Rozen Maiden, its sequel Rozen Maiden: Träumend and the OVA episodes Rozen Maiden: Ouvertüre). Rozen Maiden Zurückspulen is a reboot of the franchise which ties into the manga series more closely and seems to focus heavier on the events after the eight manga volumes that were localized into English by Tokyopop.

Rozen Maiden Zurückspulen is currently available via the Crunchyroll online streaming service. Expect a “First Impressions” review on The Otaku’s Study in coming days.
