Based in an alternate reality of the world from Fate/stay Night, Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya is a manga series that has been produced by Hiroshi Hiroyama since 2007 and beginning next month is set to receive an anime adaptation. As the term “alternate reality” may already hint, Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya features many of the characters from Fate/stay Night including Illyasviel von Einzbern as the main protagonist, Rin Tohsaka and others alongside entirely new characters.
Silver Link, the studio behind titles such as Baka and Test, Kokoro Connect and Dusk Maiden of Amnesia are to be behind this series with script writing by Kenji Inoue and Hazuki Minase. In the case of at least the main returning characters, it seems like their original Japanese voice actress’ will be returning for their roles.
