Siren Visual to Release Hakaba Kitaro This July in Australia

-

Siren Visual sure love their noitaminA titles… and amongst their releases they hold a number of Australian-first (Eg. Usagi Drop) and even Australian exclusive releases (Such as Welcome to Irabu’s Office). The company teased the title earlier this year, but have today announced that Hakaba Kitaro, an anime series from 2008 will be joining their ranks as an Australian exclusive title this July. More information is still set to be announced by the company, but they have so far confirmed it will be DVD-only and will only come with a Japanese dub.

This series is based on the manga classic GeGeGe no Kitarō by Shigeru Mizuki, and while I am not too familiar with this title Siren Visual have stated that it is something of a classic in Japan where it has been around in some animated or printed form since 1968.
