In conjunction with NTV Films, Australian anime publisher Madman Entertainment have announced that the award-winning filmmaker, Mamoru Hosoda (The driving force behind films such as Wolf Children, Summer Wars and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time) will be touring around Australia this month. He will be joined by long-time collaborator Yuchiro Saito (Animation producer and co-founder of Studio Chizu). Hosoda will be coming to Australia mid-April, appearing at very special event screenings and Q&A sessions for Wolf Children in Sydney (Dendy Newtown, April 15) and Melbourne (Cinema Nova, April 17).

You might say… with a special screening of Wolf Children at the Gold Coast Film Festival and Supanova on the very same day…. won’t Queenslanders get their chance to meet him? Fortunately he will be at attendance at the Gold Coast Supanova expo on the 20th April 2013. As for any panels… this is still up in the air.
