While fans may have been left disappointed when Hanabee Entertainment announced a one month delay for both Part 1 and Part 2 of their Australian releases of Bakemonogatari, the company have today released an unboxing (Literally unboxing) video direct from the manufacturers. This is what Eric Cherry, CEO of Hanabee had to say:
As the anime was adapted from a series of books, we thought it would be cool to pay tribute to the original format. So we worked with a local design studio to create a hybrid DVD/Book, then presented it to a specialist manufacturer in Southern China who created samples (some of which were rejected, causingdelays), then eventually printed them up for all of us.
Will it pay off? Look forward to my review of the title next month!
