Siren Visual to Hold Panel at Wai-Con 2013

It has been a fair while since Siren Visual, one of Australia’s anime publishers have held a panel at an anime convention…. but it seems that after many months of announcing panel worthy content through their Facebook page that the company will be taking the stage at next weekend’s Wai-Con anime convention in Perth. The panel is set to be held on the Sunday at 3pm in Workshop Room M7 – and the following description has been provided for it:

3:00pm – Workshop Room M7
Panellist: Elio Fois
A panel to discuss and promote the February release of Tiger and Bunny and the April release of Mawaru Penguindrum alongside other upcoming Siren Visual titles!

While it only specifically names Tiger and Bunny and Mawaru Penguindrum, it wouldn’t surprise me if the company comes along with a few more anime announcements. While Siren Visual has released a number of English dubbed titles, they have also been publisher to a number of expired (In North America) license titles such as Ayakashi Samurai Horror Tales and Higurashi: When They Cry – as well as a publisher for a number of Australian exclusive English releases such as Welcome to Irabu’s Office, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai and Dennou Coil. Can we expect to hear some more interesting titles announced by the team at Siren Visual? Here’s hoping!

In addition to Siren Visual, Madman Entertainment have a panel scheduled for 10:30ish at the Theatre while Hanabee are more interested in their Australian premiere of Gyo.
