Following the earlier anime series release of Persona 4: The Animation, it turns that the Persona series is not the only “Megami Tensei” spin-off series to receive an anime adaptation.
The official website for Devil Survivor 2 has begun promoting Devil Survivor 2: The Animation, which is set to begin airing in April 2013. The game was originally released during 2011 in Japan (2012 in North America) exclusively for the Nintendo DS and is set in a world where a mysterious website known as Nicaea forewarns people of impending disasters – with the main protagonists receiving a video of a freak train accident which would see them killed. Soon after this, demons begin appearing across Japan and they join the secret organization JP in order to put a halt to these events.
The studio Bridge will be behind this title with Seiji Kishi as director and Yoshimichi Hirai as assistant director. While you are at it, check out my review of the game HERE.
