Ichigeki Sacchu!! HoiHoi-san (One-Shot Bug Killer!! Interceptor Doll HoiHoi-san) was a manga series by Kunihiko Tanaka initially run in 2003 with its first first and currently only OVA episode released in 2004.
I saw “currently only” as this is set to change in 2013 with a new anime OVA episode is set to be bundled with the first volume of the newer manga series Ichigeki Sacchu!! HoiHoi-san Legacy on the 28th March 2013, also written by Kunihiko Tanaka.
The storyline takes place in the year 20XX where insects have become immune to all pesticides. To prevent the rising numbers of household pets, tiny and adorable androids known as Hoihoi-san were produced to act as past extermination units through the use of miniaturized weapons (and customized like regular dolls).
