NIS America Announce an Occult Academy (Anime) Contest

-

NIS America Announce an Occult Academy (Anime) Contest 1You may recall that a while ago I mentioned that Nippon Ichi Software America, a localizer and publisher of anime and games to the North American market had announced their acquisition of the license for the anime series Occult Academy, and would be releasing it this month. With its release slated for next week (8th May), the company has announced a brand new contest which may allow you to walk away with a few goodies.

This is their Occult Academy: Apocalypse… Not! (dood)” contest which will let you walk away with the Occult Academy Complete Series Premium Edition and an autographed shikishi board illustration by Takahiro Chiba, the character design / supervising key animation director for Occult Academy.

Just what is this contest? A comic contest due to apparent popular demand. But, for more information you should visit the contests official website HERE.

In the year 2012, the world is a wasteland invaded by aliens. Time travelers like Fumiaki are sent back to the year 1999 in order to destroy the “Nostradamus Key” to prevent the apocalypse. In 1999, Maya, the daughter of the former principal of Waldstein Academy (AKA Occult Academy), returns to the academy to replace her father. Despising her father’s obsession with the occult, Maya is hell-bent on running the school into the ground out of spite. Her plan is interrupted when she meets Fumiaki and learns of the forthcoming destruction of the world. They form a pact to look for the key.
