The Secret World of Arrietty (Aka. Arrietty) is a re-imaging of Mary Norton’s classic novel “The Borrowers” developed by the team at Studio Ghibli and has already seen releases in Japan, United Kingdom, Australia and a few other countries around the world. Disney has prepared their own English Dub for the series as they had many other Ghibli works and are preparing for a cinematic launch in over a thousand cinemas around the US from next Friday. Walt Disney Pictures have therefore released two five minute video clips entitled “Official B-Roll” which showcases recording session clips from the production of their English dub.
The video series showcases a majority of the cast including Bridgit Mendler as Arrietty, David Henrie as Sho Shawn, Amy Poehler and Will Arnett as Arrietty’s mother and father and Carol Burnett as Hara, the maid of the house that Arrietty and her family reside.
