Welcome to The Otaku’s Study. This is a site dedicated to bringing you both the latest and the older anime series. Usually I blog around 4 or so animes per season although it depends on what I prefer watching so it can vary a bit. I originally started the blog in May of 2006, which was hosted by AnimeBlogger, which as you may have already noticed, is still my host today. I began blogging for a little while however I must admit, I didn’t blog for months and months until I came back in October 2006 and started blogging Negima!? as a starter project which soon spread to other series like Manabi Straight and Asatte no Houkou.
There are a few quick do’s and do nots for this site which are easy to follow and they can make sure that I do not end up angry with anyone.
DO’S
- Please enjoy this blog, the main reason I have created this blog is to ensure that all people who are wondering what happens in an anime episode or even wants to begin watching it, has a chance of knowing what happens and what it is about.
- Please comment as I would like to hear what you think of each anime episode.
- Please make suggestions as I, like all humans make mistakes once in awhile and any improvements are always appreciated. Just as long as they are not rude in which I will instantly remove them.
DO NOT’S
- Please do not make any rude comments on any part of the website as they are not welcome on this site for obvious reasons.
- Please do not ask for any sources for any episodes.

1. Can I become a blogger on your website?
Sorry, at the moment this is a one-man blog and I do intend on keeping it that way for a while. If I do change my mind, it will be posted on the main site and you will have to do a proper application as dictated by myself and reviewed by an expert panel of….. MYSELF!
2. Why don’t you blog (X) whilst every other (Y) blog seems to?
Because to keep my interest in blogging, I only focus on things that interest myself personally. I am not going to cover news and updates on a game that I am not interested now am I? Of course, reviews are just based on what I am playing at the time.
3. Why don’t you blog on a daily basis like other blogs?
I will be upfront, I have a busy life considering that I am a full-time university student and as well as my other hobbies, blogging has to be slotted in. That being said, I would like to think that despite the fact that I am not a daily blogger, you will find that my reviews are long and in detail (Going up to 3,000 words for some of them). That being said, if you do have anything you would like me to review, then pop me an email and I will try and get it on the list.
4. I think you would enjoy (X), I would like you to play it and review it!

Your average (??) 20 year old university student who studies by day and plays games, watches anime (and so-forth) every other moment of the day. Has been writing for The Otaku's Study for over five years (as the one and only writer) and enjoys writing about a wide variety of media products.
