Last year saw Ubisoft release Rayman Origins, which after several 3D platforming games took the Rayman series back to its 2D side-scrolling platformer origins.
While having grown up with the 3D games in the series I was initially skeptical about how it would turn out – but in the end it walked out with a coveted S Grade in my review and came second place in my Game of the Year 2011. The game was released on several platforms including the Playstation 3, XBox360, Nintendo Wii, Playstation Vita and the PC. It was announced a while back that Ubisoft would be releasing what you might consider a sequel to the game – but instead limiting it to the Wii U under the title of “Rayman Legends”.
Coming in at three and a half minutes in length, Ubisoft have recently released a brand new gameplay preview trailer for the game – focusing on the Toad Story area of the game.
