At this years SMASH! Anime convention held in Sydney, Australia… Australian anime publisher Madman Entertainment came equipped with a set of three anime acquisition announcements – two of which (Mahoromatic: I’m Home and Shangri-la) they are set to begin publishing in Australia come November. The third, Strike Witches 2 which is set to be released by Funimation Entertainment in North America during October had no official release date.
While things can change between now and whenever the series is released – Strike Witches 2 is currently planned be seeing an Australian release in December 2012 on both DVD and Blu-ray. The second season consists of 12 episodes and includes both English and Japanese dubs. Extra content you can be expecting includes Episode commentary (5 and 9) and textless opening and closing songs.
