North American localizer and publisher of anime Sentai Filmworks have today announced that Persona 4 the Animation Collection 1 is now available for purchase on DVD and Blu-ray. Collection 1 features the first 12 episodes in the series, with the remainder set for a second collection in the near future.
The DVD release, available at a price of $59.98 will feature both English and Japanese dubs while due to certain restrictions, the Blu-ray release only contains Sentai Filmworks English dub, featuring most of the original game voice cast (Notable exceptions include Chie, Teddie and Naoto).
When Yu Narukami moves to the country town of Inaba to stay with his uncle and cousin, he’s expecting a lot more peace and quiet than he’s been used to in the big city.
