Nyu Media have today announced that the first game in their second slate of titles, “Eryi’s Action” is set to release on GamersGate, Desura.com and by direct sales through the games official website (HERE) from the 14th September 2012 priced at $4.99.
Eryi’s Action is a 2D platformer developed by Xtal Sword and is visually inspired by Super Mario, but has gameplay akin to games like “I Wanna Be The Guy”. But you can’t let its adorably charming looks phase you – as there are many tricks and traps throughout the game which are all wanting to send you back to the start of the stage. Of course… where “I Wanna Be The Guy” was frustratingly difficult, they have set out to make Eryi’s Action both addictively challenging and fun.
Storyline
One fine day, Eryi went to eat the melon that she had been SO looking forward to… but it was nowhere to be found! Then she noticed a note on the table. She picked it up and read: “Your melon looked delicious, so I took it. From Farta X”. Fuming with rage, Eryi set out from her house to get her melon back from Farta.
