In this weeks Famitsu magazine, there is a feature on NIS’s upcoming 20th Anniversary lineup and with any luck we will see some online screenshots from the article soon. One of the big questions there was to ask is what is going on with The Witch and the Hundred Knights, a game which was delayed earlier on this year and we have heard nothing much about since.
According to CEO of Nippon Ichi Software Sohei Shinkawa, it is due to the staffs limited experience with 3D systems, which has caused development to be slower than expected. That being said, the game is by no means cancelled and hopes to have a new trailer for the game next update.
This game has already been acquired for English localization / release by Nippon Ichi Software America, who currently have the game listed as to be released in Early 2013. There is no word on if this will be amended to a later date.
