While I will be holding off for a potential mistake or even more than one announcement when the online countdown ends – it seems like Square Enix in Japan may have spoiled their own announcement. The companies online store has a listing for a new “The World Ends with You” Soundtrack (すばらしきこのせかい – Crossover – | Subarashiki Kono Sekai – Crossover -) and while now removed, made mention to an iOS version of the game. You can expect to see new music tracks in the iOS version, although it is still up for debate if an iOS version will see a localized release outside of Japan.
That being said, this could still be put down to error or there may even be more than one announcement – so fans of the series keep your eyes glued to the countdown page as it hits 0 Days.
