Being developed for current-gen Playstation devices by Superbot Entertainment and being the Sony alternative to Super Smash Bros for Nintendo consoles, Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale will have you leading characters from several different Playstation franchises from Jak and Daxter to Toro in an all out brawl against one another.
Originally slated for release in October, the release has been delayed until November 2012 which will allow them to “spend more time polishing and tuning the game” and incorporating some of the feedback they have been receiving from the currently limited beta release. While this has been announced primarily through the US Playstation Blog that the North American release date will be the 20th November, the company has also elaborated that the European release date will be the 21st November, Australian/New Zealand – 22nd November and UK/Ireland – 23rd November.
Expect to see more from the upcoming Gamescom event this week.
