Last week ATLUS in Japan released Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena (Known over here as Persona 4 Arena). Now it sucks when there is a problem with a game at launch for the gamer… and the developers… but especially agitating when for a game where Network gameplay is so important to be experience greater than expected lag. Since release, gamers have been complaining about the XBox360 release of the game featuring unexpected lag issues when connected to online mode.
With its North American launch just around the corner which may or may not have the same issues, you will be glad to know that both ATLUS and Arc System Works have jumped into action developing a patch which is now in testing phases and will be released to the public shortly. This is an issue which seems to have remained only on the XBox360 edition, but will soon be patched to allow fans to battle their favorite characters against one another irrespective of purchase console.
