While a majority of the characters in Persona 4 Arena are recurring, Labrys and her shadow form are exclusive to this release and serve as critical plot points in the game. Labrys is the Self-proclaimed student president of Yasogami High School, but is really a Kirijo Group prototype anti-Shadow robot similar to Aigis. She through some device gets caught in the TV World and ends up in the P1 Grand Prix.
Ariadne is the Persona she gained by accepting her Shadow. Her axe grows in power each time it’s wielded!
Of course, with a few exceptions such as the Protagonist and Nanako, most people who are thrown into the TV world end up being faced with a Shadow version of themselves. Despite being a prototype anti-shadow robot, Labrys is no exception. Shadow Labrys is the Shadow born from Labrys’ dark side. The reason for her boiling rage and suffering is unknown… But together with her giant Persona Asterius, she’ll crush anyone in her way with brutal, wide-ranging attacks!
