One of the unique new additions to Yakuza 5 (Ryu Ga Gotoku 5) is that each of the games five playable characters will have their own “Another Drama”, taking them away from the characteristic gameplay mechanics and putting them in character-exclusive scenarios and mini-games.
To date we have had series-main character Kazuma Kiryu choose a profession in Taxi driving / street racing, Haruka Sawamura in a quest to become a top idol and Taiga Saejima taking up mountain hunting. Series newcomer Tatsuo Shinada’s “Another Drama” expands upon the series batting center minigame.
Tatsuo Shinada is a former baseball player who after meeting a former teammate, Shirakawa, takes up some batting practice / challenges alongside him. This will provide both storyline and hopefully something new from the system they have used in the past three games.
