NIS America have recently released four more character profiles for their upcoming Playstation 3 release of Mugen Souls. This time around it focuses on two Chouchou forms officially representing “Natural “Ditz”" and Sadist personalities as well as the two characters representing the Tree World (Unless they have given them other names, the original release named the worlds after the kanji for each day of the week). As during my promotions of the Japanese release I did articles on characters as they were announced by Compile Heart, I would like to take the opportunity to highlight these characters again:
Chou-Chou Ditz
Class: Undisputed God | “Am I being good? You should pat me on the head!“
This version of Chou-Chou marches to the beat of her own drum. If she’s sleepy, she’ll lay down and take a nap in the middle of the road. In the middle of a serious discussion she may burst out in song. However you slice it, she is a free spirit. Travelling with her may help others feel at ease, even feel like their injuries are healing, but they understand having a conversation with her is not the best…. or easiest idea.
Chou-Chou Sadist
Class: Undisputed God | “Hmhmhmm. Have you reached your limit? That’s fine. Drool all you like!“
This is Chou-Chou’s absolutely sadistic personality. She is the tallest, most adult, and most well-endowed of all her forms. Although her speech pattern is indulging and slick with innuendo, there is usually a backhanded compliment or veiled insult hidden within. She especially enjoys tormenting Ryuto. Contrary to her appearance, she has an insatiable sweet tooth and cannot stand spicy foods (Out there fun fact).
Welsh Cocott
Class: Newbie Hero | ”It’s okay! I’ll protect you, Sharuru!“
The young hero from the Tree World. The demon lord for that world is actually her twin sister. Although she lacks almost all powers necessary to become a hero, she trains daily with Sharuru in order to slowly become stronger. But since they do not know how to train properly, outsiders seem them as two children horsing around. She acts on impulse, but will listen to others and learns quickly.
Sharuru Cocott
Class: Newbie Demon Lord | “I am the demon lord, Sharuru… Tremble before me“
She is the demon lord of the Tree World. Like Welsh, she is rather weak. Before becoming a demon lord, she was a normal little girl. After her change she started to speak in a more sinister manner. She tries her best to display the attitude and personality of a powerful demon lord, but reality cannot be avoided – she is just a little girl who fails to realize her actions and speech paterns are more cute than intimidating. It should also be noted that she and Welsh live alone together in the middle of the forest, and that Sharuru handles most of the chores.
