One of the legimate concerns about CyberConnect2′s upcoming hybrid disc game .hack//Versus was if the game would only have a slim number of characters included in it – considering that to this point only the three main movie characters and Haseo had appeared in any official screenshots. Fortunately it seems like they will be bringing back at least some of the game other previous characters with the announcement of Tsukasa (.hack//Sign), Ovan (.hack//G.U) and Sakuya (.hack//Quantum) entering the fray when the game is released in the middle of this year as a hybrid disc with the latest .hack movie.
The below screenshots showcase these characters. Also of note is the announcement that the game will have both a versus and story mode – with the versus mode featuring both solo and online play and the story mode hopefully providing some additional plot for those who have already watched the movie.
